The ancient relationship the Arabs have with camels, their dependence for survival and cultural importance. Camel racing plays a significant part in the Arabian culture, yet with the modern development especially in Dubai such cultural heritage hasn't been lost but has been developed.
Now-a-days camel jockeys have been replaced by robots, having a speaker and robotic whip that is controlled by a human jokey inside a SUV driving parallel to the race track.
The series of paintings of different camels all racing along represents the pinnacle of the collision between old heritage and modern culture and the collage and combination of human technology and mother nature, side by side
